Open Table founding member becomes charity's first director

OTN Director Kieran Bohan

Kieran Bohan is now Director of the Open Table Network (OTN).

This is a change to how his role was previously described. Kieran became full-time coordinator of OTN in October 2020 and has been a key part of Open Table since its inception in 2008.

Sarah Hobbs. Co-Chair of OTN, said:

The trustees of OTN are deeply grateful for Kieran’s tireless work in supporting LGBTQIA+ Christian communities. He represents the network at a growing number of events, church services and charity gatherings across the country. We have recognised how Kieran’s role stretches beyond that of a coordinator and so have asked Kieran if we could change his job title to Director. This more accurately reflects Kieran’s ongoing work and helps those within and outside of the network better understand Kieran’s role and responsibilities.

OTN Co-Chair Revd Dr Alex Clare-Young added:

We are delighted that Kieran has accepted this proposal and is committed to continuing his excellent work. We invite all OTN supporters to join with us in thanking God for this blessing, thanking Kieran for all he brings to the life of Open Table and praying for Kieran’s directorship.

OTN is a charity. Kieran’s role is funded by the kindness of individuals, churches and through grants. Find out how you can support us financially, prayerfully or through volunteering here.

Kieran is available for interview. For media requests, email Roo: comms@opentable.lgbt.
